the pretty acer has no numeric keyboard. this was pointed out to me at the time of purchase, but as i had grown out of pretending to be a bank teller and tapping out random numbers rapidly on it, i thought i didn't need one. turns out i was wrong. this is an occurrence of such rarity it can be likened to halley's comet

If you have a numeric keypad hold down right Alt and press 0163 then release Alt
