i remember discovering this cover a few years ago, when it was first recorded and i was sooooooooooooooooo excited
it's the perfect (sound forever) blend of pavement and dunedin music, and thus the most apt musical representation of the 1990s and my late teens/early twenties
i can't help but feel that if i drink the right amount of alcohol, the right song is playing, i'm wearing the right clothes and i run directly at the stage when pavement are playing in auckland on march 1st, i'll be transported directly back to about 1992
but
only if the lightning strikes the town clock at the same time, of course
and
only if there's an important plot point dependent upon my time travel

Ok I'd quite like to transport myself back to 1992 as well. Should we sit down and discuss what would be the 'right' amount of alcohol and 'right' clothes for the concert at some point in the next few weeks??
